CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (CHICAGO FIRE/CHICAGO FIRE II):
- Chicago Fire FC signed forward Missael Rodríguez to a Homegrown contract on Oct. 12, 2021.
- Since joining the Club, Rodríguez has spent most of his professional career as a part of Chicago Fire FC II, the MLS NEXT Pro side of the Club.
- In 2023, he scored two goals and an assist as a member of Chicago Fire II.
- Chicago Fire FC announced that Rodríguez has been loaned out to USL League One side Union Omaha for the remainder of the USL season.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- At the youth level, Rodríguez joined the Fire Academy at the end of the 2017-18 season, where he scored 10 goals and registered three assists in 19 games at the U-15 level.
- Rodríguez was instrumental in capturing the inaugural 2021 MLS NEXT U-19 Championship on July 3, 2021 alongside other Fire Homegrowns.
- Additionally, Rodríguez earned the Golden Boot for the U-19 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs with a tournament-high eight goals in five matches.
2022 (CHICAGO FIRE): Made his professional debut, playing 90+1 minutes in the 2-2 tie (5-4 loss in penalty shootout) against Union Omaha in the third round of the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on April 19 at Soldier Field.

Chicago Fire FC signed Academy forward Missael Rodríguez to a Homegrown Player contract in October 2021. Rodríguez has been a standout in the Chicago Fire Academy since 2017 and is the 21st Homegrown signing in Club history. Beginning on Jan. 1, 2022, Rodríguez’s contract will run through 2025 with a Club option for 2026. A Chicago native, Rodríguez joined the Fire Academy at the end of the 2017-18 season, scoring 10 goals and registering three assists in 19 games at the U-15 level.
