RECAPPING WEDNESDAY:
#2 Harry Shipp's fantastic individual effort on June 7 vs. Seattle had little trouble dispatching #3 Juan Luis Anangono's finesse header from May 3 vs. Real Salt Lake to advance to the November 17 Nowak Bracket Final.
THURSDAY'S MATCHUP:
Harry will hope to continue his winning ways as his fourth seeded five-hole goal on Bill Hamid scored October 18 at D.C. United faces off with top seed Patrick Nyarko's "shot-cross" from May 10 at New York.
Ironically enough, it was Nyarko who assisted on Shipp's goal at D.C. and Harry who laid off the immediate pass to Nyarko before his effort sailed over Luis Robles and into the back of the net.
