RECAPPING TUESDAY
#1 Patrick Nyarko's wonder cross on May 10 vs. New York averted the challenge from #2 Jeff Larentowicz's header July 19 vs. Philadelphia to win the C.J. Bracket and advance to the semifinals of the 2014 Aldi Goal of the Year Tournament. Nyarko will face Quincy Amarikwa's half volley from August 23 vs. Toronto FC in Thursday's second semifinal.
WEDNESDAY'S MATCHUP
Down to the final four, we see the third Harry Shipp vs. Quincy Amarikwa matchup of the Goal of the Year tournament, with Shipp's #1 seeded second goal from June 7 vs. Seattle taking on this year's Cinderella goal, #4 seeded Amarikwa's individual effort from September 20 vs. D.C. United. The winner will face Thursday's victor in Friday's Aldi Goal of the Year Final.
