RECAPPING FRIDAY:
There's no love for Robert Earnshaw in the 2014 Aldi Chicago Fire Goal of the Year.
Though all three of Earnie's Fire goals made the tournament field, none made it past the first round as #3 Harry Shipp's hat trick clincher May 10 at New York took down #2 Earnshaw's diving header August 23 at Toronto FC.
With the win, Shipp sees two of his three tournament entries advanced to the second round. His May 10 goal going up against #4 seeded Quincy Amarikwa's individual effort September 20 vs. D.C. United in Thursday's Armas Bracket final.
MONDAY'S MATCHUP:
Quincy Amarikwa will hope to match Shipp's mark of two goals in the second round as his #1 seeded half volley on August 23 at Toronto FC faces off with #4 Grant Ward's low blast from July 23 at San Jose.
Watch both goals in the video above and vote for your favorite by 11:59pm CT Monday below.
