First-year Fire Homegrown players Harry Shipp and Chris Ritter are set to take part in the first-ever Chipotle MLS Homegrown game Monday night in Portland (LIVE on MLSsoccer.com and WatchESPN at 9pm CT).
Shipp is the defacto leader for MLS Rookie of the Year, having bagged six goals and five assists in 20 appearances for the Fire this season while Ritter has steadily come along, making all eight of his appearances in central midfield since the beginning of June.
