Chicago Fire Academy product and Lemont, Ill. native Djordje Mihailovic is currently competing for the U.S. U-19 National Team taking part in the 2016 COTIF Tournament in Valencia, Spain.
On Thursday, Mihailovic delivered victory for the U.S. in their group stage contest against Mauritania with a 40th-minute strike from the top of the 18. Check out video of the shot below:
Highlights of the match can be seen above via the tournament's YouTube page. The victory helped the U.S. rebound from a 2-0 loss to Venezuela in their opening match of the tournament. They'll next take on Spain on Friday afternoon (available to watch on delay at 8 p.m. CT via CBS Sports Network) and round out group play against Bahrain on Monday, Aug. 1.
