The Chicago Fire U-18 and U-16 Academy teams close out 2012 when they head to Florida for the U.S.S.D.A. Development Academy Winter Showcase at Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood, Fla.
The Winter Showcase will feature all 80 Development Academy clubs, with a total of 240 non-conference matches schedule to take place at Premier Sports Campus.
Currently in the middle of the 2012/13 season, the U-18s sit in fifth place in the Central Conference’s Mid-America Division with a 6-3-2 record. The U-16s sit in third place with a 6-3-3 record.
The U-18s open Winter Showcase play when they face Seattle Sounders FC Nov. 30 at 12:15 p.m. CT, followed by the PA Classics Dec. 1 at 8:45 a.m. CT and the Portland Timbers Dec. 3 at 8:00 a.m. CT.
The U-16s face the same squads, taking on Seattle Sounders FC Dec. 1 at 3:00 p.m. CT, the PA Classics Dec. 2 at 10:00 a.m. CT and the Portland Timbers Dec. 4 at 8:00 a.m. Ct.
