A big weekend for the Chicago Fire Soccer Academy lies ahead, as the club's U-17 side heads to Frisco, Texas to compete at the 2018 Generation adidas Cup.
The tournament runs from March 23-31, with champions crowned in two Under-17 divisions and an Under-12 division on Saturday. Following February's conclusion of the tournament's qualifying rounds, the Fire U-17s are set to take part in Group C of the the Premier Division. There, they'll match up with the New York Red Bulls, San Jose Earthquakes, and Tigres de la UANL (Mexico).
NOTE: Due to weather-related schedule changes at the Generation adidas Cup, the Chicago Fire's match against Tigres de la UANL will no longer stream live on the Chicago Fire Facebook page.
