CHICAGO (Feb. 23, 2023) – Chicago Fire FC today launched an all-new mobile app to enhance the fan experience at Soldier Field and beyond via the preferred mobile device of Fire fans everywhere.
The new Chicago Fire FC mobile app is available to download now in the Apple Store and Google Play, and will remain a central hub for the latest breaking team news, digital content, videos, live match updates, and Club resources while providing an improved user experience.
The new Chicago Fire mobile app was built through a partnership with Canada-based mobile solutions provider Cogny and their TeamUp suite, a multi-modular platform created specifically for professional sports organizations. An up-and-comer in the American sporting landscape, Cogny’s current mobile app clients include Major League Soccer’s Orlando City SC, as well as Brazilian club giants Palmeiras and Cruzeiro.
New features within the Chicago Fire mobile app include an enhanced match center experience for both following team updates in real time and interacting with Soldier Field activities like the halftime L-Train Race and second half song vote, as well as a new “Rate The Player” feature that allows fans to choose a star rating for each player based on their performance. Fans will also now have access to a “My Account” fan profile feature, where they can customize their settings, display name and photo, and manage their push notification settings to be tailored to their specific interests.
The new mobile app continues the organization’s relationship with Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner of Chicago Fire FC, through which fans can access, manage, share, and sell tickets through a familiar experience while also having the option to purchase single-match tickets natively within the app.
2023 Chicago Fire Season Ticket Members will continue to be able to access their 20 percent discount on non-alcohol concessions items at Soldier Field by accessing a unique QR code attached to their account that can be accessed and scanned upon purchase at Soldier Field points of sale.
Future updates to the new Chicago Fire FC mobile app will include a rewards program that fans can engage with daily to earn points toward the redemption of fun and unique Soldier Field experiences and merchandise items. In addition, the new mobile app will soon include an overhauled way-finding system at Soldier Field that will feature interactive maps, the ability to search for specific concessions items and points of interest, and more.
