CHICAGO (Jan. 7, 2022) – Chicago Fire FC today announced that Chicago Fire Academy U-15 defender Nicholas Nobles has been called into the U.S. U-15 Men’s National Team.
Nobles will join the U.S. U-15 MNT for a training camp from Jan. 7-14 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. It’s the first traditional training camp for the U-15 age group since March 2020, before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007 are eligible for the U.S. U-15 during this 2022 cycle.
The U.S. U-15 MNT training camp will be led by current San Jose Earthquakes U-17 head coach Dan DeGreer. It is the first U.S. YNT call-up for Nobles, who joined the Chicago Fire Academy in 2020.
