The Chicago Fire U-18 Academy team began the defense of their 2014-15 U.S. Soccer Development Academy crown on Sept. 5 when they resumed USSDA play. The U-18s currently sit in fourth place in the Mid-America Division with a 3-1-2 record. The U-18s take on Cleveland Internationals, Crew SC Academy, Minnesota Thunder Academy and Sockers FC before heading to the 2015 Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. for games on Dec. 3, 4 and 6.
The U-16 Academy side currently sits in tenth place in the Mid-America Division with a 1-4-1 record and face Cleveland Internationals, Crew SC Academy, Minnesota Thunder Academy and Sockers FC before heading to the 2015 Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. for games on Dec. 4, 5 and 7.
The young U-14 group has racked up a 6-2-1 record in USSDA play this year. The U-14s are currently averaging three goals a game, and have outscored their opponents 27 to 11.
