Chicago Fire Academy goalkeeper Damian Las and the U.S. Under-17 team made it three straight victories in the 2019 Concacaf Championship with a 3-0 win over Guatemala on Monday.
Las got his second start of the competition after getting the nod in net in the U.S.' tournament-opening 3-2 victory over Canada last Friday. With the win, the US U-17s finished atop Group F after mowing down all three group opponents with three straight wins to open the competition.

As they head to the knockout rounds and a Round of 16 match against Guadeloupe on Thursday (5 pm CT), the U.S. U-17s are now just two wins away from qualifying for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup which will be played in Brazil later this year. All four Concacaf semifinalists will advance to the FIFA tournament.
MLS Homegrown players scored all three goals against Guatemala with D.C. United's Griffin Yow netting a brace and Seattle Sounders players Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez and Danny Leyva connecting for a goal that rounded out the scoring four minutes from time.
