CHICAGO FIRE ACADEMY SIDES CONCLUDE 2016 GENERATION ADIDAS CUP PLAY
The Chicago Fire Academy U-16 and U-12 sides concluded play in the 2016 Generation adidas Cup tournament held in Frisco, Texas.
The U-16s defeated Seattle Sounders 1-0 on March 18, fell to Orlando City 3-1 on March 20, fell to Chivas Guadalajara 3-1 on March 22, drew the New England Revolution 0-0 on March 24 before emerging victorious in penalty kicks 4-2, and fell to the Portland Timbers 2-0 in their final match on March 26.
The U-12s won Group C with dual 3-0 wins over the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City on March 24 and a 5-1 win over Queretaro on March 25. The Fire fell 2-1 to the Houston Dynamo in their fourth match of the tournament. On March 26, the U-12s drew Toronto FC 1-1 but fell 2-3 on penalties, and in their final match, drew FC Dallas 0-0 before falling 2-3 in penalties.

CHICAGO FIRE ACADEMY PRODUCT CAMERON LINDLEY COMPETES IN 2016 DALLAS CUP
Indiana Fire Academy midfielder Cameron Lindley recently took part in the 2016 edition of the highly competitive Dallas Cup with the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team.
The U-20s were placed in Group A of the Gordon Jago Super Group. Lindley featured the full 90 minutes and captained the U-20s in a 2-1 loss to Fulham FC on March 23 and again featured the full 90 minutes in a 3-3 draw with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on March 23. In two friendlies to cap off the week, Lindley entered in the 70th minute of a 0-0 draw with Kyoto Sanga FC on March 25 and started and played 71 minutes in a 3-1 win over the Dallas Texans on March 26.
