Chicago Fire Rec Soccer (CFRS) is the largest provider of adult rec soccer in the Midwest! Each season we organize 40+ leagues for more than 4,000 players across 350 teams! We have program offerings for all skill levels, including men’s, women’s, and co-ed leagues, in full-sided and small-sided formats at our world-class Fire Pitch facility, as well as other sites across the city of Chicago.

Our mission through our adult soccer programs is to provide more opportunities for adults aged 18+ to enjoy the beautiful game. We provide world-class programs, as well as work with our local and national partners to provide additional opportunities to participate in the game, through unique matchday experiences, watch parties, coach licensing, and more. To help build our soccer ecosystem and to build soccer in our city for years to come!

Chicago Fire Rec Soccer is home to adult soccer leagues, pickups, tournaments, cups, skills classes, and social events.

Adult Leagues – Our league options include small and full-size formats, for men, women, and co-ed teams, tiered for recreational and competitive players. We operate five seasons per year, during spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Pick-Ups – Building on the culture of other prominent soccer countries and promoting unstructured, pick-up soccer during the day. We handle registration and facilities, and the players decide the rest. Giving passionate players time and space to play competitive soccer in a fun environment.

Tournaments – Hosting adult tournaments on holiday weekends, bringing male, female co-ed teams together for a chance to compete in knock-out style tournaments and win cash prizes!

Cups – Knockout tournaments that run concurrently with leagues, adding another dimension to our programs while remaining authentic to our sport.

Skills Classes – New to the game? No problem! We offer pay-to-play skills classes or train and play programs for players eager to develop their technical skills and tactical awareness, to help inspire you on the field.

In September 2021, Chicago Fire FC affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and the Illinois State Soccer Association (ISSA) to bring all CFRS leagues and players under the US Soccer pyramid.

Club Pineapple is a supporter group of Chicago Fire Rec Soccer, helping to connect the CFRS community to the Chicago Fire FC matchday experience at Soldier Field. Club Pineapple was formed by a group of self-confessed CFRS misfits, morphing into a thriving and charismatic supporter group.

Like the city of Chicago, the pineapple is just as diverse and has become a symbol that represents friendship, hospitality, and prosperity. Club Pineapple embodies these qualities from our crown to our core; we are a group of diverse people from all walks of life connected by friendship, a friendship founded by our passion to play soccer.
