On improvements the team needed to make in the match…
“I would say the right character would have been to start stronger. That was one of our objectives, to start strong; on this one, we failed today. Starting strong after we took control of the game, control of the ball and we started creating a lot of problems for this team and we came back. I would say logically in the game, 2-2, then we score the third one and we are a few minutes away from being able to win the three points – getting one point, that tastes like a loss, yes.”
On the taste the result leaves behind…
“A bitter one, but at the same time, of course we come back from 0-2. There is some positive in what tastes like a loss. But there are definitely some positive moments in the game, in the way we played, in the way we scored those three goals. Now we need to definitely be more solid defensively. We cannot plan to score four goals to win a game. It was definitely, defensively, not good enough today.
On the performance of goalkeeper Patrick Los…
“I mean, that's fantastic, the guy is young. It was pretty, pretty impressive. I think it was good. If he is on the roster, it’s because we consider that he can do it. It was a good first game for him, for sure. He didn't do anything that would be–he was not responsible for the goals he conceded. It's a very good first game for him, for sure.”
Chicago Fire FC II Forward Omari Glasgow
On scoring his first goal of the season tonight…
“It felt great, but unfortunately we didn’t get the result. But it’s a great feeling to score for the Fire this season and open my account for the team.”
On how his level of play improved as the game progressed…
“When they scored the two goals, we were still getting our opportunities so our confidence was there and we knew that we were the better team. So I just continued and tried to help my team and we got the result that we wanted, to come back from being down two goals.”
On the importance of tonight’s result moving forward…
“I think it’s a very big improvement from the team, on the road, because playing on the road is not easy. And to come on the road and get a point is good. Unfortunately we lost in the penalties but we have to put that behind us and look forward to the match at home on Friday.”

On his first goal with the team…
“It was a very quick play. I felt very certain of what I would do. Justin was dribbling and saw an open lane. Fortunately, he saw me and passed me the ball and he placed it perfectly for me to strike.”
On coming back from an early deficit…
“I think we woke up at 0-2. We started the match maybe a little too relaxed. But we knew how to move forward, how to get up and managed to come back. But we had a late lapse and we paid for it.”
On what the result means for the team…
“It gives us some perspective of where we are now. I think we should keep going, keep moving forward as a team. We have improved on the defensive side but I think we should improve more. Just keep adding points for the rest of the season. This road point is good for us but is not the best. We have to move forward and keep going until we get to the objective we want to get to.”
