Chicago Fire FC II Announces Time Change for Home Opener against Toronto FC II

CHICAGO (March 30, 2023) – Chicago Fire FC II and MLS NEXT Pro today announced a schedule change for the Club’s home opener against Toronto FC II on Friday, March 31 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.  

The match, originally slated to kick off at 6 p.m. CT, will now begin at 5:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+. 

Chicago hosts Toronto FC II in the team’s second match of the MLS NEXT Pro regular season. The Fire opened the 2023 campaign with a 3-1 win at Inter Miami FC II on Sunday, with goals scored by Matteo Kidd, Billy Hency and Alex Monis. Following a 1-1 score at halftime, the visitors scored two unanswered goals in the second half to earn a season-opening victory. 

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. CT at SeatGeek Stadium, and match entry and parking are free.
