CHICAGO (July 21, 2023) – Chicago Fire FC II and MLS NEXT Pro today announced a schedule change for the Club’s match against Atlanta United 2 in August. The match will take place on Thursday, Aug. 3 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.
Kickoff for the second game of the season against Atlanta is set for 6 p.m. CT and the match will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+.
The match was originally slated to take place Friday, Aug. 4. Gates will open at 5 p.m. CT at SeatGeek Stadium, and match entry and parking are free.
Chicago is coming off a 2-2 tie against New York City FC II in which Omari Glasgow scored the equalizer in stoppage time. The Fire then earned an additional road point by winning the ensuing shootout from the penalty spot. Next up for the Fire is a trip to Florida to face Orlando City B at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 23 at Osceola Heritage Park. The match will be broadcast live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
