What is the Fan-First Credit Guarantee?
Our Club has been focused on creating an unrivaled matchday experience for our wonderful fans and welcoming new individuals to the Fire Family. We recognize that a player of Inter Miami star forward Lionel Messi’s caliber always helps to draw new fans to Soldier Field and will ultimately help us grow our Club. Despite the injury Messi sustained during Sunday’s Copa America Final, the Fire are confident he will be back on the pitch for next month’s match-up. To ensure a full stadium and to create the best possible experience for all in attendance, the Fire are offering the Fan-First Credit Guarantee.
Should Messi be unavailable for the match at Soldier Field, our Fan-First Credit Guarantee will help ensure a great experience for all existing and future ticket purchasers. Single-match buyers who purchase directly through the team or Ticketmaster from now until August 31, will receive $250 off two or more new 2025 Chicago Fire Season Ticket Memberships or $100 off two or more single match tickets for the 2025 home match versus Inter Miami. Fans who have already purchased will have the opportunity to claim two complimentary tickets to our Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Zayed Law, during the October 19 match vs. Nashville SC.
What if I already purchased tickets to the match?
Current ticket holders for the August 31 who purchased via Ticketmaster or through the team – including single-match and Season Ticket Members – will receive two complimentary tickets to the Fire’s 2024 Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Zayed Law, during the October 19 match versus Nashville SC, should Messi be unavailable for the match versus Inter Miami
I purchased group or premium tickets for the August 31 match, will I still receive the Fan-First Credit Guarantee?
If you’ve purchased group or premium tickets for August 31, and Messi is unavailable, a Chicago Fire Ticket Representative will reach out directly to your group or premium leader regarding your group/premium complimentary tickets to our 2024 Fan Appreciation Night match on October 19 versus Nashville SC.

When will I receive the Credit?
Ticket buyers who purchased their tickets via Ticketmaster will receive communication following the match, should Messi not be available on August 31.
I purchased my tickets from a third-party resale site (SeatGeek, StubHub, etc) – am I eligible for the Fan-First Credit Guarantee?
No, the Fan-First Credit Guarantee is only available for ticket buyers who purchased directly from Ticketmaster or through our team.
What are the chances that Messi will play?
The Fire are confident that Messi will be back on the pitch for next month’s match-up, however, there’s never a guarantee that a professional athlete will play on any given night due to a multitude of factors. To ensure a full stadium and to create the best possible experience for all in attendance, the Club is offering the Fan-First Credit Guarantee.
If Messi doesn't play can I get a refund?
There are no refunds or exchanges on any of our tickets, which is standard across the industry for live sports and entertainment events and is covered in our Ticketing Terms and Conditions.
