There was no shortage of candidates to represent the Fire on the latest MLS Team of the Week thanks to a 4-0 win on the weekend, and MLS has selected three on-field standouts for the Fire and a fourth from the sideline.
Defender Matt Polster joins midfielder David Accam in the squad's Starting XI with Bastian Schweinsteiger also earning inclusion on the bench. Fire head coach Veljko Paunovic also picked up his third weekly coaching honor of the season after seeing his squad extend its MLS unbeaten streak to nine games and its home winning streak to seven.
Polster picked up his second assist of the year in setting up Accam's stellar backheel finish -- which has been nominated for MLS Goal of the Week -- while Schweinsteiger teed up Accam's second strike just six minutes later, the German's fifth assist in 14 MLS matches.
