The Chicago Fire continued their quest for a fifth Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup crown Wednesday night, hosting USL side Louisville City FC in a quarterfinal matchup at Toyota Park. The Fire took a 2-0 lead into halftime an added two late goals down the stretch to earn a 4-0 victory, advancing to the semifinal round and a date with the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, August 8.
