Joined by former teammates C.J. Brown, Logan Pause, Gonzalo Segares and Bakary Soumare, seven-year Fire defender Jim Curtin officially retired as a Fire player in a small ceremony at the Philadelphia Union team hotel on Friday night.
Curtin signed a player contract briefly making him a member of the Chicago Fire squad before signing a retirement notice which forever tied him to the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. See the events below and Jim's reaction to his retirement as a Fire player:
