On the heels of their first win under head coach Veljko Paunovic, the Chicago Fire go back on the road Sunday for an early-season rematch with New York City FC, which topped the Fire in a 4-3 thriller back on opening day. The match kicks off at 6 p.m. CT and airs live on FOX Sports 1 as part of Major League Soccer's weekly #SoccerSunday coverage.
For those not following the Fire to Yankee Stadium, the all-new Heineken Pub97 at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch (3626 N Talman Ave., Chicago) will again be the site of the club's official road Watch Party. All fans are invited to join fellow Fire supporters to enjoy the match along with a $4 special on Heineken drafts and $1 mini burgers, as well as the chance to participate in raffle giveaways of a Chicago Fire jersey and tickets to an upcoming home match.
Fans are advised to utilize parking lots at Flow Products directly across the street (to the east) from The PrivateBank Fire Pitch, as well as available street parking.
The Chicago-NYCFC matchup is the middle game of an MLS #SoccerSunday tripleheader, which begins on ESPN at 3 p.m. CT when the Houston Dynamo host Seattle Sounders FC. Following the Fire match, FOX Sports 1 will shift its coverage to Los Angeles for a clash between the LA Galaxy and defending MLS Cup champion Portland Timbers.
