Bastian Schweinsteiger's right-footed rocket from Saturday night's match against Real Salt Lake has been nominated for MLS Goal of the Week!
Just three minutes after entering the match as a halftime substitution, Schweinsteiger shrugged off a Salt Lake defender and uncorked a shot from 30 yards out that beat Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando and leveled the score at 1-1. His finish is nominated alongside goals from Kellyn Acosta (COL), Will Bruin (SEA), Teal Bunbury (NE), and Darwin Quintero (MIN).
