#4 Quincy Amarikwa's individual effort on September 20 vs. D.C. pulled another upset on Thusday, edging #3 Harry Shipp's hat trick clincher from May 10 at New York to win the Armas Bracket and advance to next week's Aldi Goal of the Year semifinals.
FRIDAY'S MATCHUP:
With two entries left in the Goal of the Year tournament, Shipp will be looking for redemption today as his #1 seeded second goal from June 7 vs. Seattle faces one of the tournament's sentimental favorites, #2 Florent Sinama-Pongolle's stoppage time winning header from October 24 vs. Houston for the Kubik Bracket Final.
