Chicago Fire loanees Joey Calistri and Collin Fernandez each played pivotal roles in Fire USL affiliate Tulsa Rouchnecks FC's 4-1 victory over Colorado Springs in their 2017 season opener.
Both Calistri and Fernandez started from the outset on Saturday in head coach David Vaudreuil's lineup opening day lineup. Calistri played 75 minutes, put a pair of shots on target, and assisted on the game-winning goal in the 32nd minute.
Fernandez completed 45-of-53 passes in a 90 minute outing in the heart of the Roughneck midfield, and also made himself a new friend during the team's post-match celebration.
The Roughnecks will next host the Houston Dynamo affiliated Rio Grande Valley Toros on Saturday, April 1 at ONEOK Field. For more information on the match, visit RoughnecksFC.com.
