After a pair of home victories in a four-day span, a trio of Chicago Fire standouts earned spots on the MLS Team of the Week for Week 11.
Midfielder Nicolás Gaitán finds himself among the first-choice XI after picking up his first pair of Fire goals. Gaitán registered two assists and scored the fourth goal in a 5-0 rout of the New England Revolution on Wednesday, before finishing off a blistering counterattack for the opening goal of Saturday's 2-0 win against Minnesota.
After making his Club debut as a second half substitution against LAFC on May 4, defender Francisco Calvo got his first Fire starts on Wednesday and Saturday, and contributed to a Fire clean sheet streak that now stands at three games.
Aleksandar Katai rounds out the week's best 18 after picking up a pair of assists against New England and closing the door on Minnesota with a vintage 1-v-1 finish. Check out the rest of this week's Team of the Week below.
