CHICAGO
(Tuesday, July 1, 2014) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Monday that Barclays Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur will hold an open training session on the Toyota Park stadium field on July 25 at 4 p.m. CT in advance of the international friendly on Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m. CT (ESPN2) presented by Target. The training session is free and open to the public.
Prior to the Spurs’ training session, the Fire will train at 1:30 p.m. followed by a joint press conference at 3 p.m. with the head coach and a player from each side.

Chicago Fire Head Coach and Director of Soccer Frank Yallop and a Fire player will be joined in the Toyota Park Second Star Club by Tottenham Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino and a player to discuss the upcoming international friendly.

Barclay’s Premier League Side Tottenham Hotspur will hold an open training session on the Toyota Park stadium field.
This is the fifth time that the Fire will welcome an English side to the Chicagoland area. The Men in Red are 2-2-0 in international friendlies against clubs from England, including Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton and Derby County.
