Prost!
Join the Chicago Fire on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Morgan's On Fulton as we celebrate this year's Fire-tober Fest — a beer and seltzer sampling event featuring food, music, and raffle prizes with proceeds benefitting the Chicago Fire Foundation's P.L.A.Y.S. Program.
All tickets include event admission, samples from more than 10 breweries, and a selection of tasty food items. Guests must be 21+ to attend.
The event will run from 11AM to 2PM and feature drinks from the likes of 9th Hour, City Water, Cutwater Spirits, Dovetail Brewery, Empirical Brewing, Half Day Brewing Co., Lagunitas, Maplewood, Pilot Project, Two Brothers, and Whiner Beer Company.
Have fun, cheers with friends, grab some grub, listen to music, and help support a good cause.
The signature program of the Fire Foundation, P.L.A.Y.S. is helping to change the trajectory of underserved youth in Chicago through innovative and enriching sports-based programming. Recognizing two major voids within the Chicago community, P.L.A.Y.S. was created to address the lack of after-school programming and the need to improve academic performance in Chicago Public Schools. Through a soccer and SEL based curriculum, program participants engage in five out-of-school hours per week over 10 weeks and participate in three game days. P.L.A.Y.S. has engaged more than 4,000 students since the inception of the program in 2013.
