CHICAGO (Nov. 13, 2024) – Chicago Fire FC and U.S. Soccer today announced that three Chicago Fire Academy players were called up to a U.S. U-15 Men’s Youth National Team domestic training camp from Nov. 14-20. Finn McCraney, Jason Nemo and Robert Turdean will travel to Fayetteville, Ga., for the upcoming camp.

It’s the second event of the U-15 USMYNT cycle for players born in 2010 under Head Coach Tom Heinemann.

Nemo and Turdean will attend their third U.S. Youth National Team camp together, and their second U-15 USMYNT camp together in this cycle. Both players were part of Heinemann’s squad that participated in a domestic training camp in Fayetteville in October.

For McCraney, it is his first call-up under Heinemann. All three players participated in the U.S. U-14 Talent ID program from May 25-30 at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

Joining Heinemann’s staff in the upcoming camp once again will be Sammy Castellanos, head coach of the Fire’s U-18 side, and Bruno Cardoso, a former professional footballer and current goalkeeper coach within the Fire Academy.
