Razvan Cocis was named as a reserve to the MLS Team of the Week Monday after a typically steady performance by the Romanian midfielder in a 1-1 draw against D.C. United Saturday afternoon.
Cocis, who donned the captain's armband for his 90-minute shift, led all players in the match with 79 touches on the ball and 56 total passes. He also was second among Fire players with three tackles, working to break up play in the midfield with timely efforts like the one below:
