There are few Fire players in Fire history that have held career longevity at a position the way veteran Gonzalo Segares has. Since being selected in the third round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, Segares has been the club's mainstay left back for nine seasons.
The kicker? He was actually a forward growing up.
