Chicago Fire Family,
No amount of words can describe my appreciation to you. You have given a little kid from a small town in Ghana the opportunity to realize his dream of playing the game he has loved his entire life. For the past eight years I have been living this dream, but unfortunately that time has come to a halt. I have always embraced challenges.
At this particular point in my career these challenges take me to another city, and another club. I take consolation knowing that I call Chicago home and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever cherish the experiences and memories that I have accumulated during my time here.
I want to thank Andrew Hauptman and the Chicago Fire Soccer Club for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this historic organization.
To all my teammates and staff I have had the pleasure of working with, thank you for helping me grow into the person and player I am. I have enjoyed the moments we shared both on and off the field.
Last, but not the least, to all the Fire fans, especially Section 8 and Sector Latino: Thank you for your endless support. It makes it that much harder thinking about the lengths all Fire fans go through to make sure this team has such tremendous support. You all deserve limitless rewards, and I am confident they are on the way.
I wish this organization nothing but the very best, and hope the Fire rise back to being one of the premier teams in the league, where it belongs. I love you all.
