A pair of the Chicago Bulls' international stars were on hand at Toyota Park Saturday to watch the Chicago Fire host the Montreal Impact, with forwards Nikola Mirotic and Cristiano Felicio each in attendance and sporting personalized Fire jerseys for the occasion.
For Mirotic, the match was a chance to reconnect with Chicago Fire head coach Veljko Paunovic, who first got to know Mirotic when the two were plying their respective trades in Madrid, Spain. Last month, Mirotic was spotted wearing a Chicago Fire jersey during a Bulls pre-game shootaround at the United Center.
Felicio, the 6-foot-10 Brazilian forward, was making a return trip to Toyota Park and shared his good wishes pre-match with fellow Brazilians Gilberto and Rodrigo Ramos, both in the Starting XI for the Men In Red Saturday.
Both Bulls players joined with original Chicago Fire season ticket holder John Keller to participate in the club's 'Ignite the Fire' pre-match, fieldside ritual.
