Mihailović, USMNT set for first of two international friendlies on Sunday

It's been three full weeks since Gregg Berhalter opened his first training camp as U.S. Men's National Team head coach. Now, his squad stands ready for its first game action under his direction. 

Berhalter's 23-player, MLS-based roster will face Panama Sunday (Jan. 27) in an international friendly at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Kickoff is set for 7 PM CT with the live broadcast available on ESPN2, UniMás and UDN. 

With his Chicago Fire teammates beginning the 2019 campaign this week in Madrid, the 20-year-old Mihailović has been tackling a fresh challenge in his first engagement with the senior U.S. Men's National Team, earning his place among Berhalter's final 23-man match roster. Regardless of whether the Chicago Fire Homegrown sees his first USMNT cap against Panama or Costa Rica (Feb. 2; San Jose, Calif.), Mihailović will be returning to Fire preseason camp next month with invaluable experience gained within the new-look national team setup.
