Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović and the Under-23 Men's National Team fell 2-0 to Egypt's Under-23s in a friendly held at Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain on Friday.
Mihailović started the match and played the first 45 minutes in the midfield, before head coach Jason Kreis refreshed his entire XI entering the second half. Mihailović created a moment of danger late in half on a direct free kick, putting a driven, dipping shot on frame from distance as the U.S. pushed for an equalizer.
The U.S. U-23s close their camp in Spain with a friendly against the Netherlands on Sunday, March 24, at 11 a.m. CT.
