Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović earned his first career Concacaf Gold Cup start for the U.S. Men's National Team on Wednesday night, delivering a 90-minute shift in a 1-0 win over Panama.
Mihailović picked up his fifth cap for the senior U.S. side on the night, coincidentally against the same team in which he made his U.S. debut back in late January. The win on Wednesday night secured first place atop Group D for the U.S., who finished group play with a 3-0-0 record. They'll next take on Curaçao in the tournament quarterfinals on June 30 at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.
