Chicago Fire FC will welcome Nashville SC to Soldier Field for the first time ever on Sunday afternoon, when head coach Raphael Wicky's team hosts the 2020 expansion side for a 12 p.m. CT kickoff along the lakefront.

CLEAR BAG POLICY: NO bags will be permitted in the stadium other than clear bags not exceeding 12” x 12”, 6” or smaller, ADA/medical bags and manufactured diaper bags.

#CHIvNSH MATCHDAY TIMELINE:

  • 9:00 AM - Parking Lots and Burnham Downs open
  • 10:30 AM - Stadium gates open
  • 11:00 AM - Starting XI flags are raised outside Gate 5
  • 12:00 PM - Kickoff against Nashville SC

MINI-BALL GIVEAWAY:

Sunday’s match offers Fire fans a chance to get their hands on one of 5,000 mini-balls to be given out postgame courtesy of CIBC. Get yours on your way out of Soldier Field following the match! The distribution for the mini-balls will take place near the Waldron Deck parking lot on the south end of campus, and outside Gate 47 near McFetridge Dr on the north end of campus, while supplies last.

CHICAGO STING:

Chicago Soccer history will be present at Sunday’s match, when the Club recognizes the 40th anniversary reunion of the Chicago Sting team that won the 1981 Soccer Bowl at halftime. To help celebrate the occasion, visit one of our new crest vending machines (details below), where a limited amount of Chicago Sting buttons will be included among the new CFFC crest buttons. Fans who find a Sting button will win an autographed Sting jersey!

CIBC SPEED KICK CONTEST:

Visit Burnham Downs at 10:30am on Sunday for a chance to win $1,000, courtesy of CIBC! CIBC will be hosting an on-site speed kick contest, where the fastest kick will be awarded the grand prize. In addition, $600 will be awarded to second place, and $400 will be awarded to the third place finisher. Step up and see if you’ve got what it takes to win!

BURNHAM DOWNS:

Burnham Downs, the Fire's pre-match tailgate area outside Soldier Field’s southwest entrance, opens up at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The space includes various fan-focused activities, with Fire merchandise, food, soft drinks, beer and other beverages, available for purchase. Burnham Downs is free and open to the public and will provide fun and games for all remaining Fire home games.

On Sunday, the La Cocinita food truck will be making a special appearance at Burnham Downs from 9 a.m. until kickoff at noon. Be sure to try their Chicago Fire-themed breakfast taco - a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, pulled pork, cilantro-cabbage Slaw, cotija cheese, and "Stupid Hot" salsa!

In addition, this weekend’s activities at Burnham Downs includes an on-site live mural painting by Chicago artist Cheri Carlton.

DJ MOCHI:

Swing by the Dr. Pepper Patio on matchday, where Chicago artist DJ Mochi will be spinning all the crowd favorites ahead of kickoff.

NEW CREST VENDING MACHINES:

Inside Soldier Field at Quickstrike Market in the South Courtyard, next to the new Crest Photo Opp in section 128 and the United Club in Section 210 (adjacent to the Season Ticket kiosks), fans will find special vending machines stocked with buttons featuring the Club's new crest!

STARTING XI FLAGS:

Catch a new matchday tradition located outside Gate 5 on the southwest side of Soldier Field. Happening prior to every match, join Fire PA announcer Tico Fernandez as the Fire’s starting lineup is revealed.

QUICKSTRIKE MARKET:

An all-new way to grab exclusive, autographed Fire merchandise, match-worn gear, and more can be found at the Quickstrike Market at Soldier Field. Check it out it inside Gate 0 on your way into the match. Kit customization will be available at Quickstrike as well.
