Chicago hosts Toronto FC at SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday night in the 39th encounter between the two teams. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass and transmitted locally on wlsam.com (English) and WRTO 1200 AM (Spanish).
Chicago holds an all-time record of 12-14-12 against Toronto, with the previous encounter resulting in a 4-1 win for the Fire on June 15 at BMO Field. Heading into Saturday’s game, the Fire are on a four-game unbeaten run against Toronto, with a 3-0-1 record.
Toronto heads into the match after playing the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Canadian Championship title match on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The game ended scoreless in regulation, and Vancouver claimed the title with a 4-2 win in the ensuing penalty kick shootout.
The Reds are currently in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 36 points and an 11-17-3 record.
