Chicago returns to the lakefront in front of a sold-out crowd for their second of three games in eight days, and their first of a two-game homestand before the October international break. Chicago is coming off a hard-fought 1-0 win against the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena and are currently in a three-way tie with CF Montréal and D.C. United for the ninth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Kickoff against the new-look Miami side is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The match will also be streamed in English on wlsam.com and transmitted locally in Spanish on TUDN 1200 AM.

- Goalkeeper Chris Brady makes his 27th start of the 2023 MLS regular season and his 29th start overall in 2023. Against New York, the young goalkeeper registered his career-high eighth shutout of the regular season, tying current goalkeeping coach Zach Thornton (1998, 2003) and Matt Lampson (2017) for the sixth-most clean sheets in a single season in Club history.Â
- Captain Rafael Czichos returns to the backline following an injury incurred against the Columbus Crew on Sept. 20 at Lower.com Field. Czichos is joined by Wyatt Omsberg in the middle, flanked by Jonathan Dean and Miguel Navarro.
- Ousmane Doumbia and Gastón Giménez line up together in the midfield for the fifth-straight match, and the sixth time overall. Joining them in the midfield again are Fabian Herbers, and Xherdan Shaqiri. Brian Gutiérrez returns to the XI for his 26th regular season start of the year after appearing as a substitute in the team’s win over the Red Bulls.
- Greek forward Georgios Koutsias will lead the attack from the outset, making his 11th start of the season. Koutsias scored his first game-winning goal for the Fire against New York.
- Available off the bench for Klopas are goalkeeper Spencer Richey, defenders Alonso Aceves, Kendall Burks, Carlos Terán, and Arnaud Souquet, midfielders Javier Casas Jr. and Maren Haile-Selassie, and forwards Kei Kamara and Kacper Przybyłko.
- Defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda (right lower leg), midfielders Chris Mueller (right upper leg), Federico Navarro (left upper leg) and Jairo Torres (right upper leg), and forward Victor Bezerra (right lower leg) will not be available for tonight’s match.
