The Fire are back at Soldier Field on Sunday night to take on D.C. United in an Eastern Conference contest along the lakefront.
Head coach Raphael Wicky's men (4-8-4, 16 pts.) can leap back above the playoff line with a full three points against D.C. (2-9-5, 11 pts.), who parted ways with long-time head coach Ben Olsen on Thursday. Sunday's match will be D.C.'s first outing under interim manager Chad Ashton.

- Four changes have been made to the starting lineup that took on Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday night.
- Making his first Fire start is defender Wyatt Omsberg, who slots into central defense alongside Mauricio Pineda. Omsberg replaces Francisco Calvo, who will serve a one-game suspension during Sunday night's match due to yellow card accumulation.
- In midfield, Micheal Azira gets his first start of 2020 replacing Brandt Bronico, who is not medically cleared for Sunday's match.
- PrzemysĆaw Frankowski and CJ Sapong both return to the starting lineup as part of the Fire attacking unit, spelling Ignacio Aliseda and Djordje MihailoviÄ, respectively.
- Joining Sapong and Frankowski in midfield are Ălvaro MedrĂĄn and Fabian Herbers. Herbers has contributed to a goal in five straight matches at Soldier Field, scoring four times and assisting once.
- Forward Robert BeriÄhas also enjoyed his time at Soldier Field as of late, having scored in three straight matches at home.
- Defender Jonathan Bornstein will wear the captain's armband tonight in Calvo's absence, making the 148th regular season appearance of his MLS career. He'll line up at fullback opposite Boris SekuliÄ.
- Goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth earns his 196th career MLS regular season appearance in net tonight.
- Available to Wicky as substitutions tonight are midfielders Ignacio Aliseda, Javier Casas Jr., Brian Gutiérrez and Elliot Collier, defenders Johan Kappelhof, Nicholas Slonina, andAndre Reynolds IIand goalkeepersConnor Sparrow and Gabriel Slonina.
