After a 1-0 win against Nashville on Saturday, the Chicago Fire are looking to keep another three points at home and leapfrog CF Montréal in the Eastern Conference standings. The two teams are tied on points, with 26, but Montréal currently sits above the playoff line in ninth place with eight victories to Chicago’s six.
During Wednesday’s match, transport yourself to a galaxy far, far away as the Club hosts “Star Wars Night.” A special Stormtrooper bobblehead will be given away to the first 2,500 Jedi and Sith to enter the stadium, and throughout the match fans will be treated to special Star Wars-themed entertainment.
Kickoff against Montréal is slated for 7:30 p.m. CT at Soldier Field, and the match will be broadcast on Apple TV+, streamed in English on wlsam.com and transmitted locally in Spanish on TUDN 1200 AM.

- Chicago Fire FC Head Coach Frank Klopas has made two changes to the starting XI that took the field against Nashville SC last Saturday.
- Defender Carlos Terán returns to the XI alongside captain Rafael Czichos after coming on as a second-half substitute against Nashville. Defender Arnaud Souquet also reprises his starting role opposite Miguel Navarro after serving a one-game suspension during the last match.
- Fabian Herbers makes his fifth consecutive start and is looking to score in back-to-back games after notching the game-winner on Saturday. Joining him in the midfield is Mauricio Pineda, who starts as a midfielder after beginning the previous match in the backline. Pineda (XI) and Herbers (bench) were both named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 24 following their performances against Nashville SC.
- Maren Haile-Selassie, Xherdan Shaqiri and Brian Gutiérrez start alongside each other for the third consecutive match.
- Greek forward Georgios Koutsias will start his sixth MLS regular season match in a Fire shirt, leading the attack from the outset.
- Homegrown goalkeeper Chris Brady backstops the team for the 19th time this season.
- Available off the bench for head coach Frank Klopas are goalkeeper Spencer Richey, defenders Alonso Aceves, Kendall Burks, Jonathan Dean and Justin Reynolds; midfielders Gastón Giménez and Jairo Torres; and forwards Kei Kamara, and Missael Rodríguez.
- Defender Wyatt Omsberg (left lower leg), midfielders Javier Casas Jr. (right upper arm), Chris Mueller (right upper leg) and Federico Navarro (right lower leg) and forward Victor Bezerra (right lower leg) will not be available for tonight’s match.
