Chicago returns from the international break ready to take on a three-game road stretch that begins north of the border against Toronto at BMO Field. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass and transmitted locally on wlsam.com (English) and WRTO 1200 AM (Spanish).

Unbeaten in their previous three matches, the Fire aims to keep the momentum going against a Toronto side that is looking to extend their unbeaten streak to three after playing the Philadelphia Union to a scoreless draw and tying D.C. United 2-2 in their last two matches.

Chicago is coming off a comeback, 2-1, victory against the LA Galaxy in which forward Hugo Cuypers scored his team-leading fifth goal of 2024 and midfielder Brian Gutiérrez scored his career-high fourth goal of the season.

  • Midfielder Fabian Herbers once again dons the captain’s armband against Toronto FC.

  • Defender Arnaud Souquet makes his fifth start of 2024 for the Men in Red.

  • Homegrown midfielder Brian Gutiérrez starts for the 14th time in 2024, participating in his 105th regular season game for Chicago. Gutiérrez’s goal against the LA Galaxy gives him a career high four goals this season, double his output in 2023 and 2022.
