Chicago travels to the DMV (D.C.-Maryland-Virginia) for the teamās third game in eight days and the final match before the league pauses for the September FIFA international break.
The Fire hosted D.C. United earlier this year, with the match at Soldier Field ending in a scoreless draw.Ā
Kickoff at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. is set for 6:30 p.m. CT, and fans can follow the action live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, and locally via wlsam.com in English and TUDN 1200 AM in Spanish.

- Captain Rafael Czichos makes his 23rd regular season start, and his 26th start overall, in 2023, alongside Carlos TerƔn, Arnaud Souquet and Alonso Aceves.
- Souquet and Aceves return to the starting lineup for the first time since the Clubās 1(10)-1(9) tie against Club Puebla on July 31 in Leagues Cup 2023 group play.
- Federico Navarro and GastĆ³n GimĆ©nez line up together in the midfield for the eighth time this season. Joining them in the middle of the park are Fabian Herbers, Brian GutiĆ©rrez and Maren Haile-Selassie. GutiĆ©rrez starts for the 23rd time in the regular season, while Herbers and Haile-Selassie each start for the 18th time in 2023 MLS regular season play.
- Also making his 23rd start of the 2023 MLS regular season, and 25th start overall in 2023, is goalkeeper Chris Brady.
- Available off the bench for Head Coach Frank Klopas are goalkeeper Spencer Richey, defenders Miguel Navarro and Wyatt Omsberg, defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda, midfielders Ousmane Doumbia, Jairo Torres, Xherdan Shaqiri and forwards Georgios Koutsias and Kacper PrzybyÅko.
