Beginning this Wednesday, Chicago Fire eSports competitors Kid M3mito and Hektic JukeZ will compete together in the FIFA Global Series 22 Washington Open, the first 2-v-2 qualifier for North America .
Playing on Playstation and competing in the Washington Open, both players qualified for this event by competing in Rivals competition and earning a high enough skill rating amongst the other North American FIFA competitors. Both players will additionally be streaming the competition on their respective Twitch channels for all fans looking to follow the action in real time.
Other MLS teams with representation in the contest are Minnesota United, D.C. United, Philadelphia Union, NYCFC, Sporting Kansas City, Inter Miami, the New York Red Bulls, and FC Cincinnati.
The daily schedule for the event is as follows:
- Wednesday, Dec. 8: 6 Rounds of Swiss
- Thursday, Dec. 9: Knockout Bracket (8 Rounds)
- Friday, Dec. 10: Washington Open Grand Finals - 1 p.m. CT
