Mihailović made his first tournament appearance for the senior U.S. side in their tournament opening 4-0 victory over Guyana on Tuesday night. The 20-year-old came on in the 74th minute for fellow midfielder Weston McKennie to help close out three points, earning his fourth national team cap in the process.
The U.S. sits atop Group D after Tuesdays result, and will look to clinch a berth in the tournament quarterfinals with a win against Trinidad & Tobago on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT from Cleveland's FirstEnergy Stadium. Trinidad & Tobago lost their opening match 2-0 to Panama 2-0 on Tuesday night, and would be eliminated from the competition should the U.S. come out on top tonight.
