This is it. This is all that matters heading into Thursday morning's meeting with the Whitecaps. With a win, the Fire would secure second place and guarantee their spot in the tournament's Knockout Round. A draw would still send the Fire through as one of the top third-place teams in the tournament's group stage, but head coach Raphael Wicky and his men will surely make the full three points their goal.

🤔 Fast Fact

Thursday morning will be a reunion of former Austrian Bundesliga forwards in Fire Designated Player Robert Berić and Vancouver's Yordy Reyna. Prior to his time with St. Etienne in France's Ligue 1, Berić suited up for Rapid Vienna from 2014-16 and scored 33 goals in 49 appearances. While there, he squared off against Reyna (then playing for SV Grödig) twice in the 2014/15 season. Each side picked up a win in their pair of meetings, with Reyna scoring against Rapid Vienna in SV Grödig's 3-1 win in November of 2014.
