With a win on Sunday, the Fire can clinch a spot in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017. The Fire clinched their postseason spot that season with a 4-1 win against the San Jose Earthquakes on Sept. 27, in which a then-18-year-old Djordje Mihailović scored the first goal of his professional career.
