The Chicago Fire attack broke out in a big way Wednesday night at SeatGeek Stadium.
The squad's home rout of the New England Revolution saw a first half brace from forward Nemanja NikoliÄ followed up by a Brandt Bronico banger and capped with first-ever Fire goals from midfielders Nico GaitĂĄn and PrzemysĆaw Frankowski.
When the final whistle sounded, the Fire's 5-0 scoreline marked the 11th time in Club history that the team had put up at least five goals on an opponent in a single match. The last time the Men in Red accomplished the feat was nearly five years ago to the date, when Harry Shipp recorded a hat trick in a thrilling 5-4 victory over the New York Red Bulls.
