Chicago Fire midfielder Przemysław Frankowski earned his seventh international cap for his native Poland on Thursday, entering as a second half substitution in a 3-0 UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying win over Latvia.
Frankowski came on in the 77th minute for Hull City's Kamil Grosicki, moments after Polish forward Robert Lewandowski completed a hat trick to power the visitors to victory at Latvia's Daugava Stadium.
The win kept Poland atop qualifying Group G, pushing them to 16 points earned through seven matches played. Latvia remained in the sixth and final position in the group with the result, having yet to record a win in their qualifying campaign.
Up next, Frankowski and Poland will travel back home for a match against North Macedonia on Sunday, Oct. 13. The match will be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, and will begin at 1:45 p.m. CT.
