As the first-place Chicago Fire regroup during the ongoing CONCACAF Gold Cup break, the club has also made some personnel moves within its first-team roster.
On Friday, it was announced that Homegrown defender Patrick Doodywould go out on loan to USL side Saint Louis FC, where he made a combined 33 appearances while on loan during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Additionally, the Fire also have plans to recall Homegrown forward Joey Calistri from the club's USL affiliate Tulsa Roughnecks FC, as reported Thursday by Orrin Schwarz of the Daily Herald. Calistri, who has five goals in 15 appearances for Tulsa, is expected to rejoin the first team this week as Veljko Paunovic's squad prepares for a road showdown with NYCFC on Saturday, July 22 (1 p.m. CT, CSN Chicago Plus).
